I have really dark brown hair and want to dye it red, what product?

I'v got really dark brown hair but been wanting for a really long time to dye it a bright or deep red. I don't want to bleach it as I'v had some hair loss problems, so does anybody know any good red hair dyes that work on dark hairs? I'v heard herbatint is good but not sure if my hair would take.Please any sugestions??thanks

i used to have naturally dark hair, and i went a nice bright deep red. but i had my hair done at the hairdressers. it was weaving it but still. i loved it. so did everyone else.

i still had all the guys. but i never wanted them.

my aunt is over 60 years of age. she now has nice red hair and she is still getting all the men. but she too, not interested.

we're not lesbians either btw aha.

i remember the hair dresser telling me something about "look at that bleach" when she was puting it on thou.

but even though some hairdressers can be awfully pricey, i say go for the hairdresser as much as i self cut my hair now.

it is worth it. i didnt care about the cost when i had my hair done.

and what the guy said, ignore. every guy is different anyway. he's one of the boring people. no body likes them.

Smart hair dye its in wilkinsons its AMAZING my hair was almost black and its purple and only took one packet definatley go for this its really good and I'd highly reccomend it :0) x

It's ususally not too difficult to achieve a red color from a dark brown, as there's usually a lot of natural red pigment there to start with. My recommendation, though, if you've had problems with coloring and hair loss in the past, is to see a stylist and have it colored professionally. They'll be able to guide you in the safest direction and will have better products than you can purchase over the counter.

I know this is not what you asked, but I will give this advice, being I am a guy, and know the truth about what guys like in women...

Stay as natural as you can. That is what guys prefer. Yeah, I know they go koo-koo over the made up hair changing short skirt and tight bikini wearers, but that is for the quick and done kind of life...

The things men want in a woman is for her to be as natural as possible. I don't know your situation, but I am sure that changing from a dark brown to red will cause any fella looking at you to wonder why you felt the need....

If you are certain you want to change your looks, do it gradually, perhaps by trying to lighten your hair by a slight degree first, and migrate over.

If you have hair loss problems resulting from the coloring and dying process, seriously thing about NOT coloring your hair.
