Naturally Red Hair?

I have natrually red hair, but am thinking of dying it black...I have the light skin redheads do, and was wondering if you think it would look okay or if it would be too dramatic of a change, and if it would make me look way too pale? Thanks!

Why would you wanna change your hair color???? I think natural red heads are gorgeous!!! If you do change it though, I would go for a lighter color. I have naturally dark hair and I am not dark enough complected to pull it off, so I lighten mine a little bit. You could gradually darken it though, so its not such an extreme change whenever you go black. I think that would help.

it might look kinda funny, especially at first. why would you want to dye it black? Natural red hair is so beautiful! and there are so many people out there dying to have red hair and they dye it and it just fades out cause red dye doesnt hold well! ... don't do it.

No... don't go black.... you'd look too goth... pale and black hair looks too sickly.... try instead adding blond highlights... look at Lindsey Lohan.... she's a typical redhead and looks much better as either a redhead or a blond !

Your absolutely right, black is going to make you look very pale..My suggestion is... since your a natural redhead and you want to go darker, pick a dark brown or even med brown...You have the perfect base to achieve that color..Not black..please.

I think that it would be a drastic change, but you may be able to do it. However, I must say that red hair is beautiful, and is getting rare. You should seriously think that over. I am on the no dying side.

It is too much of contrast. I mean, you can, but you may end up looking like Morticia Adams. Usually naturally red-headed gals look great as blonds too (and vice versa), so if you want a change, go blond, or at the very most light brunnette, but not black.

hi i think u will look very nice with black hair,bcz u have very white skin, so u can use black hair with high lighs too and u will look sexy,and red lips, but the black hair is very dificult to change color again,

I am a natural redhead too and have been every color in the book. When I look back, I wish that I had not done the black. It made me look "like death warmed over" as my grandmother said. My suggestion would be to work with the natural flavor of your hair and go for a chestnut brown... less dramatic and more natural looking. But whatever you decide, remember it is only hair. You can always change it again.
