Permanent is just that something that is lasting...It will fade some but all hair fades some what...Make sure that after u dye it that u don't wash your hair for a week..That will help keep your color longer.No mixing dyes...I didn't see that semi dye..

RED is not a good hair dye color...only if you wanna look like a clown!..try to go for brown reds to make it more natural!!

...you really shouldn't mix hair dyes like that. Better to go with the permanent and then touch it up every couple of weeks with root kits and shampoos with dye in them (I believe John Firda has one). Also, get a good dye. Healthy hair holds color better and longer. Try Garnier Nutrisse, which uses vitamin E, grapeseed oil, and avocado oil in their dyes.

I think it might i did that with orange and it worked but red does fade fast but just get a good color stay shampoo and condistioner an try it out. Good Luck!

Don't! Mixing the chemicals of the two can make your hair brittle and possibly even fall out!!!!!

Reds are very fashionable but they do fade quickly so mixing the 2 will lessen the time it stays on, the semi will dilute the strength of the permanent, making it not last as long. so in other words, it wont last as long as permanent but will last longer than semi will alone. but if you have prelightened some it will be fine, as the color will grab better if hair is lighter. use shampoos for red hair to keep it more vibrant.

If you mix these, you won't have to worry about permaneny hair color- just baldness. Not a good idea. Try a wig or colored extensions. A good beautician knows how to do a circle weave. A circle weave is when the hair is placed on top of your own hair and it looks as if its your own. Then when you are finished, you can have it removed and less damage is done...It is most certainly not a good idea to permanently afix such a daring color....

What you can do is go to a salon %26amp; get it colored red with a permanent color. Then every six weeks go to the salon %26amp; get a semi-permant red in the same shade put over top to help re-freshen up the red without damaging your hair. You won't see a huge difference, but it will help to keep that red. As you know, reds fade fast, but this will help it stay alive without drying out your hair. Also be sure to use hair products for color-treated hair to help ensure the color lasts as long as it can.
